What we actually do
We fabricate the panel, set the posts and handle the install. Aluminum faces, PVC and composite panels, single or double sided, on wood posts, aluminum posts or a masonry base depending on the site and the look you want.
Placement matters as much as the sign. We look at approach speed, sight lines and where a driver actually starts looking for you, then size the copy so it reads at that distance instead of only up close.

Do I need a permit for a post and panel sign?
Usually yes. Permanent signs in the City of Gainesville and unincorporated Alachua County are permitted, and size and setback limits change by zoning district. We build to what the code allows and can point you at the right department before you commit to a size.
Can you replace just the panel on my existing posts?
Often, yes. If the posts and hardware are sound, a new face is a fraction of the cost of a full rebuild. Send us a photo with a tape measure in frame and we can tell you quickly.
How big should my sign be?
Rule of thumb for roadside legibility is roughly one inch of letter height for every ten feet of reading distance, then check that against the maximum area your zoning allows. We size copy to the drive-by, not to the parking space.
