Standoff panels and lobby signs

A panel floating an inch off the wall on polished hardware, with a shadow behind it. The cheapest way to make a reception area look like the company charges more.

What we actually do

Printed or cut acrylic, brushed aluminum and composite panels held off the wall on stainless standoffs. The gap is the whole effect: it gives the panel a shadow, which gives it depth, which reads as substance.

Also the right format for ADA-compliant room identification, donor and recognition walls, directories and anywhere a message needs to look permanent without being drilled flat to the drywall.

  • Lobby and reception signs
  • Directory and wayfinding panels
  • Donor and recognition walls
  • ADA tactile and braille room signs
  • Conference room and office plaques

Standoff panels questions we get asked

Do you make ADA-compliant signs?

Yes. Permanent room identification signs have real requirements for tactile characters, braille, character height and mounting position. We build to them rather than approximating them.

Can you match our brand colours exactly?

Send the brand guide or the Pantone numbers. Print has limits at the edges of the gamut, and where a colour cannot be hit exactly we will show you the closest match at proof instead of surprising you at install.

Ready to price your standoff panels?

Send a photo and the rough dimensions. We will tell you what it takes and what it costs, in writing.
